Porsche 911 The Historical 911 (1960-1975)
The
history or the 911 started out with the car being designed as a racing
car and in which in one many championships and has done very well in
events such as the le mans endurance series in which many porsches have
one in their respective classes. In 2009 porsche came out with the top
placing in the le mans endurance race series in the GT2 racing
division, this win inspired porsche to build a faster more agile
porsche 911 called the 911 GT2 RS which is 14 seconds faster around
nurburgring in germany the benchmark of performance cars than its
previous GT2.
These
are the early evolutions of porsche, going left to right the cars are a
1965 911, a 1970's 911 racing edition, and the last picture is a 1973
road car carrera 911.
